Spearheaded by Dr. Jed Rose, co-inventor of the nicotine skin patch, Rose Research Center, LLC (RRC) facilitates remote participation in clinical research studies from the comfort of your home.

By leveraging eResearch, you have the opportunity to take part in clinical trials focused on investigating nicotine addiction and smoking cessation. Presently, cigarette smoking remains the top preventable cause of death in the United States according to the Surgeon General(1). RRC endeavors to alter this sobering statistic and consign it to history.

Features:

 <li>Volunteer: Individuals aged 21 and above who utilize nicotine-containing products can register with the eResearch app to volunteer. Simply furnish your contact details and respond to inquiries concerning your history with nicotine usage. This data aids in pairing you with ongoing and upcoming clinical studies.</li>
 <li>Participation: Upon being matched with a study, eResearch allows you to enroll by providing consent through our entirely online eConsent process. You retain the autonomy to discontinue or opt out of participation at any juncture. Study offerings are diverse, with RRC frequently introducing new research studies. Subsequently, you can elect to receive alerts regarding pertinent studies.</li>

If I Participate, what does this app do?
<ol>
 <li>Payments: Compensation is disbursed for study involvement using an electronic payment gateway orchestrated by eResearch.</li>
 <li>Study Assessments: Periodically, we may request that you provide updates on your well-being and progress within the study. These evaluations, also known as remote visits, are prearranged in consultation with our team of researchers.</li>
 <li>Communication: Through eResearch, you can maintain communication with our study team. Our clinical research team schedules appointments with participants throughout their engagement in a study. Within eResearch, Contact Us information is available inclusive of contact numbers for reaching out to study personnel and for medical emergencies.</li>
 <li>Telemedicine: Live telemedicine consultations may be conducted through eResearch to engage with participants as if the study visit were transpiring in-person. Participants may interact with research or board-certified medical professionals depending on the visit type.</li>
</ol>

Ensuring participant safety stands as our prime concern. Furthermore, your volunteer details are safeguarded and not shared with external entities. All research endeavors undertaken by RRC undergo scrutiny from an independent Institutional Review Board. Moreover, all studies adhere to Good Clinical Practice guidelines and are registered on clinicaltrials.gov.
